Ensayo de un Desaparecido is the forty-second studio album by Omar Rodríguez-López as a solo artist, released on February 24, 2017. It is the seventeenth release in the album series initiated by Ipecac Recordings, the fifth of the 2017 series.[1]
The album is a re-recording/reimagining of Xenophanes (2009), presented in a more stripped-down fashion compared to the original.
"Nocturna Luz" was released in advance as the album's single. Tracks 2-3 form a single composition as do 8-10.
