Emma Ishta Douglas-Powell[1] (born 16 November 1990)[2][3] is an Australian model and actress. Emma was educated at St Aidans AGS in Corinda, Brisbane, Queensland. She began modeling in Australia at the age of 13. She portrays Kirsten Clark on the ABC Family television series Stitchers.[4][5][6][7] Stitchers premiered on 2 June 2015 and was renewed for a second season on 14 July 2015.[8] In October 2016, the series' official Facebook page announced in a Facebook Live chat that the series was renewed for a third season.

Personal life

She is married to New York native and playwright Daniel James McCabe, whose play The Flood, in which they both acted, premiered at the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival and won the Award for Excellence in Playwriting.[9][10] Through this marriage, she has one stepdaughter. In late June 2016, the couple had their first child together, a son.[11]
