Elroy Simon Guckert (May 17, 1900 – September 3, 1940) was an American football coach in the United States.
Coaching career
Coach Elroy Guckert was the head college football coach for the Hillsdale Chargers located in Hillsdale, Michigan. He held that position for the 1925 and 1926 seasons. His coaching record at Hillsdale was 9 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #11 at Hillsdale in total wins and #9 at the school in winning percentage (.625).[1] He was a graduate of Denison University.[2] He died when he disappeared from ship in 1940.[3]
