Leung was born and raised in Hong Kong. He received early music education in St. Paul's Co-educational College and the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. He then transferred to International Christian School in his secondary years and then furthered his studies in Wheaton Conservatory of Music where he studied with Martin O'Donnell, Shawn Okpebholo and David M. Career

Leung began his career as Leon Ko's assistant on the film "Insanity" (暴瘋語) in 2014. During his assistantship, his choral music was highly praised by Bernard Chan of the Hong Kong Executive Council.[2]

In 2016, Leung began the composing for SyZyGy Limited's video games.[3] In 2017, he was named the composer of major action-cinema director Dante Lam's Operation Red Sea (紅海行動). He was also the orchestrator of Hong Kong Repertory Theatre's award winning musical, "Field of Dreams" (頂頭鎚).[4][5] Aside from cinema, Leung also composed and arranged tunes for various TVB MyTV Super campaigns and was especially involved with the music creation of channel 98 (戲曲台). As part of the Hong Kong SAR's 20th Anniversary celebrations, his arrangement of "Descendants of the Dragon" (龍的傳人) was performed in "同心耀中華 — 紫荊花開," held in Shenzhen as the concert finale.[6][7][8]
