Elizabeth Safrit (born in May 27, 1992) is an American director, model, journalist and beauty queen. She was crowned Miss United States 2014 on July 6, 2014 and represented the United States at Miss World 2014, and she was crowned 2nd runner-up along with bagging the Multimedia Award and becoming Continental Queen of Beauty of the Americas.
Early life
Elizabeth was born and raised in a small town Kannapolis, North Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2014 with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Safrit is now a graduate student at Georgetown University, where she is enrolled in the Masters of Public Relations and Cooperate Communications program. [1]
Pageant experience
Safrit competed in her first pageant when she was a freshman in college as Miss Cabarrus County. In 2013, she placed 4th Runner-up at Miss North Carolina USA 2013.[2] On July 6, 2014 she competed for and won the title of Miss United States 2014 and represented the United States at Miss World 2014, in London (United Kingdom), on December 14, 2014. She was crowned 2nd Runner-up to Miss World along with bagging the Multimedia Award and becoming Continental Queen of Beauty of the Americas. Safrit also finished in the Top 3 in Talent and Top 15 in Interview at Miss World. [3]
