Electoral reform in Rhode Island

Electoral reform in Rhode Island refers to efforts to change voting and election laws in the Ocean State.

The Rhode Island House and Senate passed legislation to implement the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. The bill was signed by Governor Lincoln Chafee on July 12, 2013, making it the tenth state to join the compact.[1]
