Reyes del Show (Show Kings) is the original spin off of the Peruvian TV series El Gran Show. Began on October 29, 2016.[1]
This season will join the top three couples of the two first seasons. In addition it was confirmed that added new couples in this season.[2] This season, Belén Estévez and Maricielo Effio, former participants of the program, both faced the couples in different versus dance.[3] [4]
On December 17, 2016, Rosángela Espinoza and Lucas Piró were crowned champions, Thiago Cunha and Thati Lira were in second place while Fiorella Cayo and Jimy García were third.[5] This was Espinoza's second victory, making her the second participant in the program's history to win two seasons, after Belén Estévez. At the same time, Piró became the first professional dancer to win two seasons.

Host and judges
Gisela Valcarcel returned as a presenter while Miguel Arce did not return as co-presenter, being the first time in the history of the program in which Valcárcel is the only presenter in a season. Morella Petrozzi, Carlos Cacho, Pachi Valle Riestra and Michelle Alexander returned as judges. The procedure of the only VIP judge present at each week continued this season. Due to an accident suffered by his mother, Carlos Cacho could not be present during the second, fifth and eighth week. [15] [16]

Week 3: Synchronization doble dance

The couples (except those sentenced) performed a danced two dance styles synchronized which consisted of a continuous dance style to another, synchronized with another pair formed by members of the dance body of the program. In the versus, which would face Yahaira & George against Maricielo & Oreykel, was canceled due to Plasencia suffered an injury, so it automatically went to sentence. During the improvised dance round, Christian & Isabel decided not to dance due to lack of rehearsal, because of this the jury gave them a minimum score.

The couples performed a group dance next to the dance body and/or a celebrity, then they danced cumbia. In this gala the VIP judge could award three extra points.
Due to the injury of Yahaira Plasencia, Karen Dejo replaced her, still lost in the duel and was eliminated. Christian & Isabel, who had been saved by the public, were disqualified because of breach of contract. For this reason, none of the three remaining couples was sentenced to the final.
