Plot

Gabriel Leon (Jorge Reyes) is a famous TV entertainer, master of his own production empire and husband of one of the most beautiful women in the country, Angie Sorelli (Myriam Abreu). But his happiness is cut short when he discovers that he has cancer. The doctor informs him that the chemotherapy he will undergo will probably leave him sterile. However, Gabriel has a secret from his past. In his youth, due to economic needs, he donated his sperm to a fertility clinic. Now, 20 years after these donations, with the help of his best friend and partner, Gabriel looks for the four women who were inseminated with his semen, in the hope that one of their children would be a compatible liver donor for him. In the process he gets to know Brenda's sister, one of the inseminated women, caring for their two-year-old after the death of her sister during childbirth, who was looking for Gabriel to help her with the boy.

Valentina Pacheco is a successful publicist, who was the first woman to be inseminated with Gabriel's donations. She rented out her womb to a sterile couple to pay for her studies. He also seeks his daughter with the help from Juliet, who is a journalism student and a fan of his. Another woman linked with Gabriel through their donations is Nayari, who is the Deibis's mother, Gabriel's second son. Nayari worked in her youth as a nurse in one of the artificial insemination clinics for which Gabriel made his donations, but she was diagnosed with uterine cancer and was forced to be a mother, and taking advantage of the discount afforded had decided on artificial insemination. Nayari told her son that his father was a soldier who died in combat. Now Deibis is 17 years old and guided by the example of "El Capitan" (the nickname Nayari gave Deibis's father) turns into the best student of his generation and dreams of becoming a professional singer. He is adamant in being Nayaris's greatest pride, who thinks she has the perfect life with her work and her husband Tono, who loves Deibis as his own child. Her happiness will be in danger when Gabriel approaches Deibis seeking to tell him the truth.

Magdalena Miranda (Daniela Bascopé) is the third woman to be inseminated with Leon's sperm, but unlike the other two she does not know, since her husband Aguistine (who married her because she was wealthy) lied, saying that the semen was his. Now she is happy with her family and her work as a professional photographer. She learns that her son Roro (4 years old) is not her husband's child but another man's, and also learns that her best friend Sofia (who was in charge of the insemination clinic) is Aguistin's lover. She also meets Gabriel who confesses he is the child's real father. They fall in love and will have to confront the anger of Angie (Gabriel's wife), Sofia together with Aguistin ratting her out, and the greatest danger of them all: the entertainment reporter Ricardo Arismendi (who hates Gabriel for taking his animation hit show "El maratón de la alegria " off the air), who will not rest until Leon's life is destroyed and his secrets revealed in the public's eyes.[7][8]
