Ekta Kaul born in Jammu, India[1] is an Indian model and television actress.[1][2][3][4][5] She is best known for her role of Riya in Star Plus's Popular Show Mere Angne Mein.[6] She was a Contestant in Dance Reality Show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6.[7]
Career
Ekta Kaul has done graduation in biotechnology and after that did her MBA. She was working with Nestle for a while, and whilst she was posted in Mumbai, she started dabbling in acting career. Kaul began her career with the leading role of Sahiba in Rab Se Sohna Isshq,[8][9] She was one of the contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.[7][10] She was also seen playing the role of Suhani in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony Entertainment Television India. In 2015, She Bagged The Lead Role Of Riya Mathur in Star Plus's Drama Series Mere Angne Mein, where she played the role of Riya till March 2017.[11] In August 2017, it was reported that she is joining Life OK's thriller show Ghulaam as the lead role of Shivani Mathur opposite Param Singh and that she would replaced Niti Taylor in the show.[12] But as per latest development, the show is going Off Air on 25 August and she will not enter the series.[13]

Personal life
Ekta was born in Jammu and Kashmir, and speaks English, a little Punjabi and Kashmiri is her mother tongue . She has studied for an MBA and worked with Nestle as manager.[16]
