Ekaterina Borisovna Mitrofanova (Russian: Митрофанова Екатерина Борисовна, born 5 May 2002) is a Russian competitive figure skater.[1]

Mitrofanova was born on May 5, 2002 in Moscow, Russia.[2]

Career

Early years

In 2015, Mitrofanova debuted at the Russian Junior Championships, finishing 11th.

2015–16 season

Making her international debut, Mitrofanova placed 6th at the 2015 Junior Grand Prix (JGP) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She won the silver medal at the JGP in Torun, Poland, finishing 21.22 points behind Polina Tsurskaya of Russia and 4.74 ahead of Rin Nitaya of Japan.
