Edgewood High School is a public high school in Trenton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Edgewood City Schools district. It's the home of the 2003 State of Ohio Runner Up Football team. In 2012, construction was finished on the new building for the high school.[3] The new high school made local newspaper headlines at the time for taking advantage of green technology.[4] In 2014, the high school again made headlines for its policy allowing school administrators to carry a concealed handgun.[5][6][7] In 2017, Superintendent Russ Fussnecker made news by suspending a student "liking" a social media post of an airsoft replica gun.[8]
