Ecole Globale International Girls’ School, an exclusive girls’ international boarding school, is situated the foothills of the Himalayas in Dehradun, India. The school ideal for both national and international girls students and provides the good atmosphere for studies. The School also ranked as number six in India in peer and parent surveys (*Education World 2013).[3]

History

Ecole Globale was founded in 2013 by Amarjeet Juneja with the Vision of this institutions is "To empower girls to discover their intellectual, creative and physical potential to embrace the 21st century". Mr. Amarjet wanted to provide safe and healthy enviourment for study to every girls so they found Dehradun as best place. In this school students and staff live and work together which ensure safety and the greenery of Dehrdun provide calm atmostphare to study. This school was started to provide first-class, college-preparatory education to students from India and from overseas. [4]

Affiliation

Ecole Globale International Girls' School is affiliated to the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).[5][5] [6][6]

Academics

Ecole Globale offers education from grade 4 to 9 and to grade 11. Students have a choice to study Science or Commerce after Class 8th. The students, teachers, and staff live and work together on a huge 40 -acre campus. A highly trained faculty that looks after the Spanish and French departments. Students benefit from the advanced methods of training at the school.[2][2]

Ecole Globale International Girls’ School was awarded with the National Excellence Award at the 3rd National School Excellence Awards Ceremony hosted by Brainfeed in New Delhi. The award was given in recognition of the pedagogical practices used in the school to provide quality education. The chief guest on the occasion was Dr Kiran Bedi.[7][7]

Sports

Sports games include horse riding, basketball, swimming, badminton, lawn tennis, hockey, athletics, karate, aerobics and table tennis. Students get involved in these important activities right from their first day in school. Other activities on campus are Quiz Club, Music & Dance, Craft and much more.

Students of Ecole Globale International School won 5-silver and 10-bronze medals in the Under-19 category and 5 students qualified for the national competition at the CBSE North Zone Swimming Competition 2016 held at Apeejay School, Noida, between 1 and 4 October. Besides, Students of Ecole Globale International Girls' School bagged 9-medals in the recently held Excellentia Horse Show Competition in New Delhi.[8][8][9][9]

Facilities

Accommodations are provided in well maintained and fully furnished hostels with very spacious dormitories. The school has a well-equipped science and computer lab with one computer per student. Taking care of the health of each student is paramount to us. So, we have on campus two well-qualified nurses.
