Echizen-Kaihotsu Station (越前開発駅, Echizen-kaihotsu-eki) is an Echizen Railway Katsuyama Eiheiji Line railway station located in Fukui, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

Station

All Katsuyama Eiheiji Line trains serve Echizen-Kaihotsu Station. One track serves a single island platform, which was formerly (until September 2015) served by two tracks.[1] The station is staffed between the peak periods of 7:00-10:00 and 16:00-20:00. The section between Fukuiguchi and this station was once double-tracked, but one track was closed on September 27, 2015.[1] From this station to Katsuyama, the line is single-tracked from the beginning.
