East Ridge High School is one of two public high schools located in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States, the other being Woodbury High School. It is operated by South Washington County Schools (ISD 833).

History

In District 833, the two public high schools Woodbury High School and Park High School were overcrowded. East Ridge was built to accommodate along with the population growth in the district. East Ridge was also built to unite students from the districts of two rival schools, Woodbury and Park. The current principal, Aaron Harper, resigned recently. The district hired Jim Smokrovich of Grand Rapids to replace him.

Academics

East Ridge offers the Advanced Placement courses (AP), along with providing courses through Century Community College. Students are able to receive college credit towards specified courses that they take through Century. East Ridge has a total of 79 full-time faculty.
