Eagle Tavern in Eagle, Pennsylvania is a historic tavern built in 1859 situated at the intersection of Pottstown Pike and Little Conestoga Road. For locals in the area, the tavern is "... a legend and an icon in this area.". It means a lot to the people in Chester county. [1] The restaurant was owned by the Jones family until recently selling to local business entrepreneur, Joseph Scavitto in June 2012.

Fire of March 2010

A fire gutted the kitchen area of the historic tavern on March 9, 2010. The fire was ruled an accident by then Upper Uwchlan, Pennsylvania police chief John Demarco. A Lionville firefighter was "... slightly burned during the blaze..."[2] As of January 2011 the Tavern has been restored and open for business.
