Dynamic Yield is a U.S. company that offers a personalization technology stack for digital marketers. Dynamic Yield personalizes the experiences of more than 500 million users globally and serves brands from the ecommerce, media, travel and gaming industries.[1] The company is based in New York City and has over 100 employees as of 2017.[2]
History
Liad Agmon, a co-founder of the company, has served as the company’s chief executive officer since its inception in 2012, and as a member of the company’s board of directors. Prior to starting Dynamic Yield, Agmon founded information security vendor Onigma (acquired by McAfee) and social search company Delver (acquired by Sears Holdings). Following Delver’s acquisition, Liad served as a VP of New Services at Sears Holdings and on the board of its Home Electronics and Outlets business units.[3]
Agmon co-founded the company with Omri Mendellevich, who has served as the company’s the chief technology officer since its inception, as well as a member of the company’s board of directors.[4]
Funding
The company has, to date, undergone three financing rounds, including: April 2013- a $2 million Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), with investments from the New York Times Company and Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors.[5]
June 2014- a $12 million Series B round led by Marker LLC, with additional investments by Series A investors BVP, the New York Times Company and Innovation Endeavors, as well as an investments by ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, a German media company.[6]
In December 2016, Dynamic Yield announced a $22 million Series C round led by [Vertex Venture Holdings] and Claltech with participation from Baidu and Global Founders Capital.[7]
Products and Services
The company serves its conversion optimization and personalization solutions through its proprietary software as a service, licensed to its clients.
Dynamic Yield’s algorithms analyze every user’s behavior and interests and build a unique persona for them in real time, resulting in a personalized customer experience tailored to each user's needs.[8]
Offices
The company’s headquarters are in New York. It also has offices in Tel-Aviv, Berlin and Singapore.
