Durban Poison is a pure Cannabis sativa strain that originates from the South African port city of Durban. It became popular around the world due to its sweet smell and uplifting effects. Durban Poison has THC levels that can reach 24%. Durban Poison is great strain to use to help stay productive through the day or when hiking. Durban Poison has large resin glands which make this strain a great choice for concentrate extraction. The buds are round and chunky with a dense coating of trichomes.[1]
Ed Rosenthal, an American cannabis activist, discovered the original Durban Poison and brought it back to the United States in the 1970s. Durban Poison is used to treat depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and nausea.[2]
