Cowal Community Hospital, formerly known as "Dunoon General Hospital", it is a Community Hospital in Dunoon on the Cowal peninsula, Argyll and Bute in the West of Scotland. It is managed by NHS Highland. This hospital provides cover for the Cowal peninsula population, numbering some fifteen thousand people.[1]
It has a GP-led Accident and Emergency Department, a Maternity Unit, Dental Surgery Suite, an eight bed General Ward and there is also numerous Consultant led Clinics held at the hospital.[2]
Dunoon Hospice
A charity funded six bed Paliative Care Hospice is located within Cowal Community Hospital.[3]
