The Dr. Jabez Campfield House,[1] also known as the Schuyler-Hamilton House, is a historic, 4 bedroom Georgian-style house and museum located at 5 Olyphant Place, Morristown, New Jersey.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is owned by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
History
The house was built in 1760 and was purchased by Dr. Jabez Campfield and his wife Sarah Ward.
The home is the place where Alexander Hamilton courted his wife to be Elizabeth Schuyler.
