"Downfall" is a song by Alabama-based rock band Trust Company. It is the lead single off their debut album The Lonely Position of Neutral. "Downfall" peaked at no. 6 in both the US Mainstream Rock Tracks and US Modern Rock Tracks charts. It is one of the band's most well-known songs.
Music video
The video features frontman Kevin Palmer walking down a street leaving everything he walks past being blown by a massive gust of wind. It found significant airplay on MTV2.
Media appearances
"Downfall" appears in the Mercy Reef pilot teaser. It also appears in the video games BMX XXX, MX Unleashed, and Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure. "Downfall" was made as a downloadable song in music rhythm game, Rock Band on March 2, 2010. "Downfall" was used as the main theme for Vengeance 2002. Meanwhile, its b-side "Falling Apart" was used for the Royal Rumble 2003 pay-per-view.
