Dow DuPont merger
DowDuPont is the American company that will be formed as a result of the merger of Dow Chemical and Du Pont.[1] If the merger completes as expected in 2017, the merger will be the 18th largest in history[2] and will form the world's largest chemical company in terms of sales. Dow DuPont will be dual headquartered in Midland, Michigan and Wilmington, Delaware.[3][4][5]
Post merger
At the time the merger was announced, the companies also announced that within two years of the merger's closure, DowDuPont would be split into three separate public companies, focusing on the agriculture, chemical, and specialty product industries.[5]
