Doug Reed (futsal player)
Doug Reed is a professional futsal player from England and currently plays for the England national futsal team (over 60 caps). He currently plays for Futsal Dinamo (Zagreb) a leading team in the Croatian National League. Previously he has played for Lanzarote Tias Yaiza (Spain), AEL Limassol (Cyprus), MNK Uspinjača Zagreb (Croatia), MNK Smederevo (Serbia) and Manchester Futsal Club (England). In 2011, he won the FA Futsal Cup with Manchester Futsal Club and was awarded Player of the Tournament in the same competition.Whilst playing for Baku in the English Super League he won several FA National League Championships and FA Futsal Cup medals. He has represented Baku, Edinburgh and Cardiff as national qualifiers for the UEFA club competition. Also works as a commentator for Sony 6 ( India) Eurosport and BT Sports and has worked with the emerging US Futsal pro league and the recent Indian Premier Futsal Tournament.
