At the age of 17, she moved to WTF-Taekwondo, where she won several national and international titles, and at the age of 19 she was finally given a kickboxing at the Viennese Kampfsportverein Kumgang Vienna. Among her coaches, Roman Sendor and Robert Kolerus, she soon became the sporting sign of the club. In the 2002 WKA World Championship in Marina di Massa, Italy, Köhler became the first kickboxing champion in full contact as well as a silver medallist. In 2003 WKA World Championship titles came into full contact with Lowkicks in Antwerp, Belgium, as well as in light contact in Killarney, Ireland. In addition, four European Championship titles of the ISKA in the years 2006 (Augsburg, Germany) and 2007 (Szentes, Hungary) are in their traditional full contact, full contact with low kicks and in semicontact.

She played her first professional bout on 7 January 2007 in Knielingen against the German Isabell Hoher and won by points. High ended her career afterwards. In her second fight on March 31 of the same year in Karlsruhe, she reached a draw against the undefeated German Kira Schnürer.

On September 2, 2007, she was defeated by Nadia Raoui, who was also unbeaten. On February 9, 2008, she also lost points against the strong Israeli Hagar Finer, WIBF title bearer in super flying and bantamweight. The return three weeks later in Israel, Köhler lost by t.K.o. In the ninth round.

On 21 April 2012, she beat Schwerin against Ina Menzer, but lost it by points
