Don Barbieri

Donald K. Barbieri (born November 18, 1945) is an American businessman and politician. He is Chairman of Red Lion Hotels Corporation, a position he has held since 1996. In 2004, he was a candidate for the United States House of Representatives, running as a Democrat in the Fifth Congressional District of Washington. In the 2004 general election, Barbieri lost to Republican Cathy McMorris, 39.98% to 60.1.%[1]

Since 2004, Barbieri has served as chairman of the Spokane County Democratic Election Committee.[2] A past Trustee of Gonzaga University, he lives in Spokane, Washington.
