Dominique Raccah
Dominique Raccah is an American publisher and editor. She is founder and CEO of Sourcebooks.
Life
Dominique Raccah was born in Paris[1] and came with her family to America when she was 9. [2] She graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
She worked at Leo Burnett.[3] She started Sourcebooks from home in 1987.[4]
In December 2016, Raccah was named book publishing's "Person of the Year" by book publishing trade magazine Publishers Weekly.[5] Raccah also received the BISG Industry Innovation Award from the Book Industry Study Group in 2016 [6] and in 2017 Publishers Weekly and NPD BookScan reported Sourcebooks was the 10th largest trade book publisher in America.[7]
