Dishwasher (occupation)
A dishwasher is a worker who washes dishes.
Most dishwashers work in a restaurant setting.[1] Typical dishwashers load a tray of dirty dishes into a commercial dishwashing machine.[1]
A 2008 study by the Pew Hispanic Center reported that many illegal immigrants to the United States worked as dishwashers.[2] Dishwashing can be an entry-level job for a career in food preparation.[3]
