Dino Radončić (born January 8, 1999) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Liga ACB and EuroLeague.
Early life
Radončić was born in Germany, where his father Damir Radončić played professional handball.[1] During his childhood, he also spent some time in Spain, where his father had signed with a club, before the family settled in Zrenjanin, Serbia, when he was eight years of age. Radončić started playing football before turning to basketball in the youth system of KK Uno Grande Zrenjanin.
Playing career
In 2013, he joined the youth ranks of FC Barcelona and moved to Real Madrid one year later,[2] making his Liga ACB and EuroLeague debuts during the 2015–16 season.
International career
Radončić won his first cap for Montenegro’s men’s basketball team in 2016, participating in the European Championships 2017 qualifiers.[3]
