Diarmaid Byrnes (born 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right wing-back for the Limerick senior team.[1][2]
Born in Patrickswell, County Limerick, Byrnes first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Limerick minor team before later winning an All-Ireland medal as captain with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 2016 Munster League. Byrnes has since become a regular member of the starting fifteen.
At club level Byrnes plays with Patrickswell.
