Diane Ray

Diane Ray (1 September 1945,[1] Gastonia, North Carolina) is an American pop and rock and roll singer of the early 1960s. She is best known for her hit single, "Please Don't Talk to the Lifeguard,"[2] which was a Top 40 hit in the summer of 1963.[3] Without any further chart presence, Ray remains a one-hit wonder.
