The publisher of the newspaper is Kazi Anis Ahmed, while Zafar Sobhan serves as the editor.[1][2] The motto of the newspaper is The news you want. No more, no less. On the other hand, the initial marketing campaign Glad to be a Bangladeshi was changed to I am made in Bangladesh.[3]

History

Dhaka Tribune was first published on April 19, 2013 Bangladesh.[4] The newspaper, however, started as a broadsheet, and became compact on March 1, 2015.[5]

Political position

Some of its regular supplements TMAG, Avenue T were subsequently merged with T-Junction after the change. Other notable supplements include Weekend Tribune, Arts & Letters and Treehouse. However, Arts & Letters was discontinued after December, 2014.
