Delias funerea is a butterfly in the Pieridae family. It was described by Walter Rothschild in 1894. It is found in the Australasian realm.[2]

This species is closely related to Delias buruana and Delias duris, but can be distinguished by the grey suffusion on the outside of the underside of the hindwings, outside of the red submarginal band.[3]
