Delias caeneus is a butterfly in the Pieridae family. It was described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758. It is found in the Australasian realm.[2]
The wingspan is about 70-76 mm. The red markings on the hindwings are more developed than in any other member of the hyparete group. Furthermore, unlike any other member, there is a red patch at the end of the cell on the hindwing verso.[3]
