Dipika Kakar (born 6 August 1986)[1][2] is an Indian television actress.[4] She is known for playing the role of Simar Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka.[3] Kakar was a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8. Currently, she is participating in the Nach Baliye 8 along with Shoaib Ibrahim.
Career
Kakar started her acting career in TV with the role of Lakshmi in the mythological show Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi,[5] After that, she appeared in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as Rekha.[6] Since 2011, she appears in the lead role of Simar Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka.[7] She was a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. Dipika quits Sasural Simar Ka in 2017.
Personal life
Kakar was married to Raunak Samson for two years and divorced him in January 2015.[8]
