The Deanery Church of England High School and Sixth Form College is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. The most recent OFSTED report said the school is "good".[2]

The Deanery High School is a Church of England voluntary aided school.

The school's campus is located in the town centre, very close to Wigan bus station and the main Post Office sorting office. It can be reached easily by bus and train. The school was previously housed mainly within buildings which used to be a part of the All Saints School, however, starting in summer 2015 most of these old buildings were demolished in order to make way for a new £15 million build, funded under the Government’s Priority Schools’ Building Programme (PSBP).[3] As of present, the classrooms, offices and other facilities once housed in the now demolished buildings have been relocated in a four storey and two storey temporary building assembled at the rear of the school near it's all-weather pitch. Over the summer, staff and contractors will move the equipment and furniture into the new buildings allowing students to also move into the new building in September 2017 at which point demolition of the rest of the old buildings will begin.[4] Other work undertook was refurbishment of the schools Sports Hall. The classrooms in this building which were once used for English now house the schools new Music Department, featuring two larger classrooms, a Recording Studio, an office for the heads of the Performing Arts and PE departments as well as a staff work room for the two departments.

In September 2008, the Deanery received a new Headteacher, Stephen Brierley, previously Headteacher in an all-girls Archbishop Blanch School in Liverpool. In 2013 Brierley left to take on another Headteacher position, and previous acting head Janice Rowlands took the position permanently

The Deanery High School also has a 6th Form College; offering A-Levels as well as Level 2 and 3 BTEC Courses[5]
