Dean Myron Davies (born September 5, 1951) has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since 2012. He has been the first counselor to Gérald Caussé in the Presiding Bishopric of the LDS Church since October 9, 2015.[1] Beginning March 31, 2012, he served previously as the second counselor to Gary E. Stevenson in the Presiding Bishopric.

Over his career, Davies worked in the real estate investment, construction and management industries. Prior to his appointment as a general authority, he was employed by the LDS Church directing the construction of meetinghouse, temple and special project facilities .[2]

He served previously in the LDS Church as president of the church's Puerto Rico San Juan Mission and as a stake president, as well as a full-time missionary in the Uruguay/Paraguay Mission. He earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Brigham Young University and has completed advanced executive programs at Stanford and Northwestern Universities.

Davies was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and is married to Darla James. They are the parents of five children.
