De Economist — quarterly review of The Royal Netherlands Economic Association published since 1852.
De Economist provides an outlet for high quality research in economics. It publishes both theoretical as well as applied studies, preferably with a focus on European affairs. Surveys of current research are also published regularly. Authors of empirical research articles frequently make their datasets available to readers, making replication of the research results possible.
Originally in Dutch, today the majority of De Economist articles are in English.
