David Graham Sewell (born 20 October 1977) is a New Zealand cricketer. He played one Test match for New Zealand in 1997.

He is a former member of the Otago team and he plays for North Otago in the Hawke Cup. He played for the Oamaru cricket club in which younger brother Anthony Sewell was captain, 2011/2012 was his last with the club.

Sewell was born in Christchurch. He is a right-handed batsman, and a left-handed fast-medium bowler. He has played in only one Test match, where he acquired one run, not out.

Sewell was famously out off the bowling of Shillito in December 2011. Also in a tight match against Union, Hamish Turley making his premier debut gave Sewell a very Controversial LBW as it appeared to be going well above the stumps. However Oamaru held on to win.
