David Scarpa

David Scarpa is an American screenwriter. He was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and raised in Tennessee and Connecticut before attending New York University's Film Program. His most famous works are the screenplays for films such as The Last Castle and the 2008 remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
