David Bright (soccer)
David Bright (born 13 June 1956) is a Botswanan football coach who is currently head coach of the Botswana national team. He is considered to be one of Botswana’s most successful coaches. A former army major, Bright is often referred to by his former military rank. He began his fourth spell in charge of the national team in July 2017.[1]
On 5 February 1992, Bright joined Mogoditshane Fighters in the Botswana First Division.[2] During his 13 year spell, he led the team to three consecutive Botswana Premier League titles between 1999 and 2001.[3]
Bright has also managed Engen Santos,[4] Bay United,[5] Gaborone United[6]and Bay United.
