David Leavitt (born January 12, 1983) is an American visual artist better known by his pen name Davey Detail. Detail is most notable for being a part of the Los Angeles art collective, CYRCLE.[1]

Career

In 2010 Leavitt linked up with artists Devin Liston and David Torres (Rabi) to form CYRCLE. One year later after public recognition from an art piece they left on the gates of LACMA, their works started showing up in Los Angeles based art galleries.[2] Since, Detail has been traveling across Western Europe working on CYRCLE's, OVERTHRONE!, campaign which began in London in March 2014.[3][4][5]

Personal life

Detail was married to American actress Rose McGowan in October 2013. They have since separated.[6] The divorce was finalized in November 2016.[7]
