Daniel "Danny" L. Cevallos (born November 1974) is a criminal defense attorney, as well as a legal expert and TV personality who regularly appears on CNN and HLN, and The Howard Stern Show, to give analysis on high-profile cases, and other news events.[1]

Cevallos is a regular columnist for CNN.com,[2] and appears in CNN digital productions. He is also a legal analyst on the Howard Stern Show, appearing on the Special People's Court segment. He frequently hosted the former Court TV/TruTV show "In Session."[3][4] He joined CNN in 2012 after appearing as a legal analyst for several television stations in the Philadelphia area.

Cevallos practices in Pennsylvania and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and the District Court of Puerto Rico, and other federal courts.[5] He was defense counsel in a high-profile cop-killer case in St. Croix,[6] and recently handled the defense of a federal bribery and extortion case in St. Thomas.[7]

He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is the co-founding partner of Cevallos & Wong, LLP.[1]

Background

Cevallos is an alumnus of North Muskegon High School in Michigan, The University of Michigan and Notre Dame Law School.

He is also an adjunct professor at Drexel University in the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
