Damoetas is a monotypic genus of jumping spiders. As of 2017, it contains only one species, Damoetas nitidus.[1] It was first described in 1886 by Peckham & Peckham. Two species species that were once in this family, Damoetas christae and Damoetas galianoae have since been moved to Myrmavola.[2]
