Dale Dickson (born 3 July 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1980s.
Originally from Shepparton, Dickson, who played as a utility, averaged 16 disposals a game in his first two league seasons.[2] He played ten games in 1984 and in a win over the Sydney Swans kicked four goals.[2] After appearing in the first round of the 1985 season, he didn't play senior football for the rest of the year and returned in 1986 to play nine games.[2]
Having been released by Melbourne, Dickson was a member of Brisbane's inaugural squad and took part in their historic opening VFL fixture, against North Melbourne. Playing as a back pocket defender, Dickson had 19 disposals.[2]
He remained in Queensland after his league career finished and is now the CEO of City of Gold Coast Council.
