Dai Prefecture
Daizhou or Dai Prefecture (代州) was a zhou (prefecture) in imperial China seated in modern Dai County, Shanxi, China. It existed (intermittently) from 585 to 1912.

The administrative region of Daizhou in the Tang dynasty is under the administration of modern Xinzhou in northern Shanxi:
