Kanshū Nippon Jōshikiryoku Kentei Kyōkai: Imasara Hito ni wa Kikenai Otona no Jōshikiryoku Training DS | October 26, 2006 | — | — |
Notes:
Kanshū Nippon Jōshikiryoku Kentei Kyōkai: Imasara Hito ni wa Kikenai Otona no Jōshikiryoku Training DS (監修 日本常識力検定協会 いまさら人には聞けない 大人の常識力トレーニングDS), often referred to as General Knowledge Training or Common Sense Training was launched in Japan on October 26, 2006 for the Nintendo DS video game system. It was produced under the supervision of the Japan Common Sense Aptitude Examination Association[6] and is the sixth installment to the ever-successful Japanese Touch! Generations series, and has currently not been announced for release outside Japan. In a similar fashion to Brain Age (Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training), the training mode is delivered in small doses; so you're only able to test your 'common sense' a single time each day. When you've done your training for that day, you're awarded a stamp which is placed onto your calendar. The training is based around topics that include courtesy/manners, society, intelligence, and eventually traffic, art, and music. Questions are asked, and your score is based on how well you perform. When your score is displayed, you have the option of connecting to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to upload and compare your score to the national average. In Japan, retail pre-orders accumulated to over one million.[7] First week sales totaled 189,700,[8] as it entered at #1 in the Media Create sales chart. As of July 25, 2007, Common Sense Training has sold 1.53 million copies worldwide.[9] | |||
