D. Sathyaprakash is an Indian playback singer and rose to fame after finishing as a second runner up on the musical talent reality TV show, Airtel Super Singer.
Early life and singing career
In 1999, Sathyaprakash performed at a school contest and was noticed by Chitra, a development officer with Life Insurance Corporation of India, who was one of the judges. Chitra arranged for Sathyaprakash to study with Chandrasekhar Bhagavathar.[1][2]
Discography
Sathyaprakash had four Carnatic music albums featuring his music (Padatha Pattillai, Jananam, Pazham née, and Soundaryam) released under the banner of Rajalakshmi Audio, a music record company.[2]
Sathyaprakash has sung for popular music composers including AR Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja, Vidyasagar, G.V. Prakash Kumar and D Imman.[3]
