Czyprki [ˈt͡ʂɨprki] (German: Freiort; until 1928: Czyprken) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Miłki, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Miłki, 17 km (11 mi) south-east of Giżycko, and 97 km (60 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the area was placed under Polish administration according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. Germans fled or were expelled and replaced with Poles expelled from the Polish areas annexed by the Soviet Union.
