Microthyris lelex is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Cramer in 1777. It is widespread in the Caribbean, Central America and northern South America. Records include Surinam, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.[1] It has recently been recorded from southern Florida.[2]
