Curriculum Vitae (album)
Curriculum Vitae is a compilation album by recording artists of Nigerian record label Mo' Hits Records, released in 2007, by the label. Nigerian record producer Don Jazzy, head of the label, first revealed plans for a label collaborative album in 2006. The album produced five singles—"Why Me (Remix)","Pere", "Ololufe", "Booty Call", and "Move Your Body". Upon its release, Curriculum Vitae received positive reviews from music critics.
Background and recording
Don Jazzy founded the Mo' Hits label in 2004. Since the label's inception, multiple acts have been signed to the label, including close collaborators of Jazzy such as D'banj, Wande Coal, Dr SID, D'Prince and Kayswitch.
Release
Curriculum Vitae was made available for purchase on iTunes in 2009.[1] Moreover, it was made available on Badoski[2] and MyAfricaBargains.[3]
Singles
- "Move Your Body" is a song by Wande Coal and D'banj. The song and its music video have a club theme to it.[4]
- "Why Me (Remix)" is a song by Wande Coal and D'banj. It is the successor to D'banj's "Why Me", a single off his RunDown Funk U Up album.
- "Pere" is a song by D'banj and Wande Coal. The music video for the single, shot in Lagos, was uploaded onto YouTube in 2008.[5]
- "Booty Call" is a song by D'banj, Wande Coal, Dr SID, D'Prince and K-Switch.[6]
- "Ololufe" is a song by Wande Coal. In addition to appearing on this album, the song appeared on Coal's Mushin 2 Mohits album.[7]
- "My Grind" is a song by Wande Coal, D'Prince, Dr SID, and K-Switch. The music video for the song, shot in Lagos, was uploaded to YouTube on September 23, 2008.[8]
- "Ten Ten" is a song by Wande Coal, Dr SID, K-Switch, and D'Prince. The music video for the song was uploaded onto YouTube in 2009.[9]
