Cum Proxime
Cum Proxime is an motu proprio of pope Pius XI , it was promulgated March 1, 1922. New regulations of the interregnum are created.

Context
The pope understood the needs of cardinals that came form far away, often they needed more time to reach Europe.[2] He recognised the role of the american church so the two American cardinals could benefit extra time before the doors of the Conclave were closed.
Further are all voting Cardinals allowed to bring two personal aides, and are to attend daily mass.
